A coffee social will be held at 8:30, and the event will begin at 9:15. Lunch will be provided. Many door prizes to be won.

Rev. Michelle Harris, a Provisional Elder of the UMC serves as the Lead Pastor at St. Charles UMC in Destrehan, LA. With more than 12 years of ministry experience with families, youth, children, women, and community ministry, Michelle brings passion, excitement, and laughter to all that she does. Michelle is a dynamic and engaging communicator helping her audience to know they are fully welcome in the presence of God. She is devoted to sharing messages that open and inspire listeners to spiritual growth and transformation. Michelle is lovingly devoted to Rev. Jason Harris, her husband, best friend, and clergy colleague. They have been married for 16 years and enjoy parenting their three children, Emma, Jackson, and Evelyn. Michelle also enjoys learning to play piano and garden. She also finds joy cooking, being a “soccer” and a “gymnastics” mom, and spending time with her dogs, Rocket & Harley.

Get off to a great start with a coffee social and move to contemporary worship featuring The Mid-City Church Worship Team from First UMC of Baton Rouge. Rev.Michelle will present an energetic morning assembly followed by interactive small group sessions and activity.Then, kick-off the afternoon session following lunch. End the day with a beautiful experience to a close with worship and the Lord’s Supper where all are invited. Childcare is available.
